Within the framework of the "Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy, digital transformation is defined as one of the priority areas of the country's development. Today, our main goal is to turn Uzbekistan into one of the centers of digital technologies and innovations in the region. Our state creates all the conditions for young people to receive quality IT education, learn foreign languages, and successfully demonstrate themselves in the local and international markets. Large-scale work is being carried out to include such young people in IT education and to interest them in obtaining international certificates. We believe that young people are the main driving force of Uzbekistan's digital development, and the state, in turn, will continue to support every young person who strives to develop and create.

Today, the IT education sector is gaining strategic importance in Uzbekistan. The country is reviewing and updating its education system in line with the development of digital technologies in the world. In this process, it is important, first of all, to form practical skills, introduce modern curricula that meet market requirements, and attract qualified specialists. To achieve these goals, Uzbekistan is making serious investments in the IT education sector - new universities and technoparks are being created, programs based on international standards are being introduced, and international cooperation is expanding. At the same time, projects are being implemented aimed at increasing digital literacy, teaching the basics of programming, and developing innovative thinking from school age.

Today, interest in the IT sector in Uzbekistan is high, but the gap between the quality of education and market needs remains. Today, many young people are entering the IT sector, and it is our task to direct them in the right direction and connect them with practice, teaching them to solve real-world problems. We are working to train specialists who will play an important role in building the digital economy of Uzbekistan, competitive in the domestic and international markets.

Today, IT education in Uzbekistan is in a phase of systemic change. Over the past 5 years, the country has undergone significant changes in this area compared to previous years, including strategic decisions, the opening of many new educational institutions, the establishment of international partnerships, and the digitalization of the education system itself. This is a positive and important change, especially at a time when the demand for digitalization specialists is at a global level and Uzbekistan is striving to become the IT hub of Central Asia.

Today, Uzbekistan is witnessing the rapid development of IT education. Within the framework of the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy, the country is striving for a complete digital transformation, which includes improving IT education. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors, as well as employers and educational institutions, which will ensure that curricula meet the requirements of the labor market. In addition, to improve the quality of IT education, all educational institutions in Uzbekistan - schools, colleges, lyceums, academies, universities, and even training centers - must have clear quality standards and mechanisms for ensuring them.

Uzbekistan has great prospects for becoming a leader in the IT industry in Central Asia. Firstly, this is a country where more than 50% of its population is under 25 years old. Secondly, the country pays great attention to the development of IT technologies, including taking into account gender equality. Thirdly, at the moment the country is very open to cooperation with different countries, exchange of experience and joint projects. Such an approach gives a great impetus to the development of the economy, IT and other sectors. Speaking about the prospects for IT education, today we see that the gap between the demand of companies and the offer of educational institutions is gradually decreasing. Today, we see that companies are also offering various free academies and internships to recruit the personnel they need. This is, of course, very important for achieving good results in this direction.
